After deciding that the exhaust is the next part of the car to be subjected to the modification bug, i came accross this company:

they seem to have a decent reputation after a very cheeky search of google (going by other car forums), and have a rather fancy rolling road by the looks of things.

anyway, after seeing a few people mention that an exhaust might also be the next mod to their car, i thought maybe we could club together and maybe get a RR / exhaust day sorted, and maybe bag us a bit of discount!

I've sent them an enquiry email, so shall see what they say.

Wouldn't mind one even if just to co
pare differences betwen roads but will have to be cheap now. And as for exhaust unfortunately can't affords one but would come down for a gander if it gets setup.

I've e-mailed them about tuning options on my youngests 1.4 Seat Ibiza 8 valve ('02 plate) It makes 60 Bhp as standard and she gets ripped by 1.2 Corsa's & 1.2 Stilos lol... I am however very sympathetic!

If you just wanted to get the RR done there is a much better place just over the road. I want two RR runs myself, a before and after.

When are people thinking of? Early december or later on this month?

oh and btw, they just said they stopped doing custom exhausts but can weld in straight pipes. so maybe somewhere else might be better?

Yeah RS Tuning... Their runs are £45 but they do them much much cheaper if you organise as group.

If you are thinking about a custom exhaust there is always longlife just a few miles up Tong Road?

No I dont think so. Never dealt with them myself personally but know a few people who have had and been very happy. They arent far from Armley Gyratory though so not far from the places that have the RR's, it would be two different places though..

Its a Longlife franchise/stockist/whatever and company do other stuff as well afaik so they might be able to organise something.

Exhuast wise I have had two powerflow systems from the place at the end of Gelderd Road (forgotten the name). The one I had on my coupe I had no end of trouble with. The 206gti one I had prior to that was a work of art on the other hand.

Im personally only after a few RR runs so I would go wherever.

i want a rr on my car but still 30quid is a touch pricey

has anyone sorted this rolling road day out yet... i would be interested as well.. i think £30 is a quality price if you can get this sorted..

i dont mind sorting it out.

they have said it needs to be a Sunday, so i propose that we do it on the 17th January...

how would that work for everyone?
