Im sure this will offend someone so apologies lol, im happy to go to Skegness but cant see the point of going on a family break if no one on here is bringing kids under 18. Maybe they are and I didnt notice it but everyone seems to be over 18 and this makes sense to go for it, previous FF weekenders have always been a riot because of chalet parties and the 'fun crazy side' to the weekend. I think recently less people have come because its got less exciting, its difficult to go nuts when we are booked in under a family break as we need to be considerate to all other holidaymakers on the site (and this is fair enough). There are many choices under the adult breaks, they tend to be cheaper and the dates are always away from main breaks (lots of kids around which no one seems keen on lol).

Just my thoughts, i appreciate that im not on here much etc these days but just wanted to give an opinion on why previous ones have been so good and why lots of people dont come anymore.

Sorry if this come across as critism..its not meant to!

Claire

i think part the issue is that despite outside school holidays being better for over 18s that a lot of people (myself included) are now staying on at uni or college longer with the current economic climate so (i dont know for uni) but a lot of us college goers holidays are limited from the end of may to the start of september.

Brean sands is near Weston and is smaller than Minehead as a town !!!

black pools a sh!t hole

every one used to say that about skeggy before we went, some still do, we need more people who havent said nothing about going any where or why they havent to speak up so we can get numbers up, every where will be crap if only 11 people go.
chat to your friends on face book an msn try an get them to speak up an say places and times that they would come to

Beth finishes on 10th July and goes back 3rd Sept.

As long as I can use Tesco vouchers to book and have enough money for spendo, dont mind really.

I got distracted before I could vote! So i've voted now. But as said above all dependant on tesco vouchers and funds

be a lot warmer in july,

Still warm enough in Sept! :p

I think Skeggy would be good. Alot of people seem to have mentioned Skeggy as being a good place.

Middle of Sept would be best for me as go back to college/uni at the end of it. And most familys will either have kids back at school, or be getting ready to go back to school.

Sept is better for me too, I've got loooooads going on in July so will give me a chance to save some extra pennies in August
