Workshop Event

Right had a thought about events where people can all take little bits/mods they would like to do to their cars and everyone can help each other out?
(speakers, de badging lights etc.) just simple stuff

does this already happen?

i know it may be hard to arrange as you would need an area with access to certaint hings like electricty But im sure most people will bring tools.

ideas?

p.s also thought of an event where people can meet up and then go round scrap yards (sounds lame at the moment but keep reading) and then every1 can go rummiging together and help each other to find bits for their cars and reccomend parts???

feedback please

Re: Workshop Event

sounds like a couple of good ideas but then what if the part that has been fitted goes wrong? who would be responsible?

im talking about little bits that wouldnt generally go wrong like advice on bits changing lights. plus everyone helps each other so its not as if you arive leave your car and pick it up in an hour.

im sure people willing to help dont expect to just get a list of things to do. i was thinknig more along the lines of the start you off you finish it or they tell you what to do or help. not just get on with it.

thanks for feedback
