Stoke-on-Trent Meet

Well seen as I live up here now and theres not alot in the way of meets going on around here, I thought I might as well see if I can get something sorted

Anyone interested in a Fiat or otherwise meet in the Stoke-On-Trent area? We had a mini meet (turned out with about 15 cars in the end) in Stoke' Festival Park about 2 and a half years ago. Was actually my first FiatForum meet

Festival park is a good location. Easy to find with signs all over Hanley and stoke town centre as well as being signposted from the A50 and A500 etc. Last time we met outside the Odeon/Quazar.

Anyone got any input on this? Any other locations? My other thoughts could be the large industrial estate in Uttoxeter just off the A50, altough Fez park is better known and probs more central to most.

Anyone also defo up for this would be good to post too

Probs be in the next few weeks etc. Could turn into a monthly thing if theres alot of FFers about

I'm up for that, would prefer uttoxeter cause festival park is a bit full of boy racers but would come where ever it is

Agreed. Uttoxeter has a large car park anyway and its usualy fairly quiet in evenings. obviously you get the usual local boy racers but Fez can get overrun with them on some nights

However, im not 100% sure but i think they might close the uttoxeter retail park car park at night... Any other ideas?

I'd come if you actually did something at said meet (dependent on date and time of course)

Me and babz are sure it doesnt exist. we looked on the pizza hut site and it says its there but looking on maps, we should have driven right past it Stupid Pizza Hut


Other location ideas... Tescos Mier Park (near Blyth Bridge) or Tescos Longton (near stoke town centre) which is part of a big retail park.

Still thinking Festival Park might be the best option although police might ask us to move on as it is patrolled.

T'would just be a stand around and chat kinda thing I suppose. Much like Ace is... Hmmmmm, need somewhere with food Fez has a Maccy D's

Im thinking probs around 5pm meet on a Sat/Sun dependant on whats best for everyone.

Yeah i would be up for it. Fezzy is patrolled and their taking a no nonsense approach to the place with them setting up testing stations, but if we aint being little chavs round there could be ok.

Will have to set a date etc.

Yeah Fez might be a no go really as police can be strict.

Im thinking Longton Tescos now. Its not just a tescos car park as theres also a pizza hut, next, argos and carphone warehouse on site so no barriers. Plus with it being a static meet (no burnouts etc ) then its unlikely we will be asked to move on.

I once saw a impresa meet at Mier Park Tescos. They just all lined up (about 20 of them) at the back of the car park. No problems there I even remember a BBQ

Both the Tescos mentioned would probably suit the bill. Dont think we would have any probs at either of them sites.

How does the second sunday in May sound? Would have said first sunday but its the day after brooklands so some people might not be upto it.

Sunday 13th May at Longton Tescos in Stoke-On-Trent at 5pm
