Awwww im so angry

The flipping local garage charged me £105 for fitting two front suspension struts and two lowering springs, when i wanted the rear springs done too.
Oh im livid. Well im not going there for my M.O.T, short arsed prat.
Now have to ask my friend who has a lot on, to fit the rear springs.
Are they hard to do? As hard as the front?

Rears take 20 mins max to do they are easy as wiping your bum.

lol! Ill have to ring round to see if anyone can do it on a saturday for <£50

jack the back of the car up. remove the lower damper bolt. pull arm down. remove old spring. fit new one. replace damper bolt. repeat on otherside.

I have no time to do that ;-(
But a garage in maidstone is doing it for me for £47 inc. VAT.

Thats why it costs money,people/garages provide a service & you have to pay for it.

if id have seen this thread earlier and if i knew i had some free time at the weekend id have offered to do it for you for a few quid

my rear springs were a bugger to get off, i had to compress them while on the car to get them out, new ones just slotted in though
