I just had to share this with everyone. These guys are absoulutely brilliant. A family run business owned by two brothers. I have been taking my cars to them since I started driving and they have been great to me. My Dad takes his car and work van there and my borther will too when he passes his test.

They will tell you exactly what needs doing, what is likely to need doing in the near future and give you a firm quote all the time. They are quick, honest and upfront with you and talk to you in plain english.

These guys have told me when cars I have bought are unfit for the road and not safe to drive. I haven't had much luck with cars and was buying really old bangers after my old Astra was written off. I was gutted about this as they had done a bit of work on it and it was almost like a new car for a J reg.

MOT's, servicing and diagnostics. They don't do courtesy cars, but if it's a fairly quick job they have a comfortable waiting area with hot drinks and plenty of reading material. Even a toybox for the kids!

Since I moved to Milton keynes, I have been happily travelling the 45 odd miles back to Hemel to have them do my car as I won't let anyone else touch them (unless it's Days Fiat/Alfa in MK or an absolute emergency)

They have an excellent local reputation and you may have to wait a week before they can book your car in, but that just goes to show how good they are.
An honest reliable garage is hard to find, but these guys are 24 carat solid gold! :worship:

I may try them, as in 15 years I've failed to find a decent garage! Still looking, but if your post is all true I can't go wrong going there by the looks of it!

I take it this means they charge what they say they will, don't get grease over your seats, leave scratches on the bodywork or dent the roof....just a few of my many bad experiences around Beds, Herts & Bucks to date :(

i can personally gurantee that will not happen. They are fantastic, honest and upfront. They always give a firm quote and abide strictly to RMIF (retail motor industry federation) code of conduct all the time! There is a copy of it on the wall in the waiting room.
Be prepared to wait a bit for a booking date. Took my car there this morning and the eraliest they've got is next wednesday, and the yard was packed with cars! They are a bit pricey, charging about £45 an hour for labour, but worth every pwnny in my opinion. Let me know how you get on if you do go there.
