A reasonable priced garage in London that clears the Airbag Failure

Hi,
does anyone know or have any experience with a good reasonable priced garage in London that clears the Airbag Failure, stop engine message on the dashboard. Just tried the solution on Fiat Guides and NO LUCK.
If anyone knows another method or a good place that clears this, that would be great.

I dont want to go directly to Fiat with this fault after hearing of the prices they have been quoting a few people around this forum, its ridiculous. If there is an independent specialist that knows how to take care of it and does it for less than Fiat, I would be happy to go to them with my business. I also know of others (non forum members) that have this problem and would be willing to get their Stilos airbag problems sorted out by a good vehicle mechanic.

Your choice mate...but with safety items I firmly believe its better to get it done/fixed by a trained technician that someone who will just 'put the light out',money shouldn't even enter the equation here.

Yes there is a very anti-fiat/tech/dealer theme throughout the forum but I find that mostly comes from those who really have no understanding of the industry,after all 'everyones a mechanic aint they'? Thing is they are happy to accept the advice/help of the many technicians here!

Use your own common sense here,save a few quid.....is it worth it?

If a Fiat dealer cleared the error in one lookover I wouldnt have any qualms and would be happy to give them the go ahead, but its first time ive owned one of these cars and have no experience of running one, and the way some people have written on the forum as if its a recurring problem, if thats the case, then how many more trips will I have to make to a Fiat dealer to get it sorted.

Find a good dealer is first thing...after that work is guaranteed so if the problem does reappear you have recipt/proof and any further work/correction is absorbed by dealership budget.

If (and I say IF) things go wrong at least dealer has luxury of field engineer visits,a independent garage has not & infact will phone dealers for guidance/help or come here & other such forums for help.
