Horner's of Burnley & Caledonia of Blackburn - STAY AWAY!!

Well these two dealers are useless, both are very rude, have no interest in any problems you have and pass you off with excuses that are complete lies.

I bought a new Grande Punto, and from day one i had an air vent button fall off and brake squeal.

Took it to Caledonia Blackburn who said they would order me an air vent. I went back one week later for it to be fit, only to get there and the part hadn't arrived - no one bothered to call and tell me.
They said they would call when it arrived, they never did. I called them over 2 weeks later and they told me to go in the day after, they would look at my brakes and fit the vent.
I went the day after, was told straight away they couldnt look at my brakes as they didnt have time but would fit the vent.
I waited in the garage for 2 hours, until i went to check the progress of the car...i was told that the wrong part had come in and nothing had been done to my car, even though they let me sit there for 2 hours!!! They weren't even sorry! I waited for 20 mins to see the manager, who never came.

The problem with the vent is still on going as they now say they cant get the part.

Horner's Burnley - Again, very rude and incompetant. Went to try and get my brake squeal fixed, however i was informed they would charge me as it was "brake dust". This is not possible on the front brakes on the Grande, which they insisted it was and basically told me "tough, you have to pay, brake dust is not covered by warranty"

Both dealerships are useless and lack customer care skills at there lowest!!

you have exeriance the wrath of a fiat/alfa garage, they are almost all tossers.

best mainstream garages I find are the ones where,

old couple who own an independant jag garage, set up a suzuki garage, then some other honda/nissan etc type places, then a BMW place, then an audi garage.
consequently putting all the ****ty franchised dealers out of business and providing grade A customer service!!

there are three sets of these old folks up here!
1) Preston based lot, loads of prestiege brands.
2) lloyds, always pricey, but pretty confident
3) an unknown 3rd lot, who own the jap garages and french garages. not brav enough to take on fiat/alfa though, not profitable enough

Take your vehicle back, this is a known problem with squeal, new modified pads required.

well caledonia has gone now....were now called Blackburn Motorpark and I'm sure our service is alot better than Caledonia infact I know its better.

Why was Caledonia bad?

In what way are Blackburn Motorpark better?

The reason I ask is I am only 10 miles away

i got my gp t-jet from blackburn motorpark and i thought the service was very quick an the staff was very friendy and they kept me informed with wat was going on with reguler phone calls i was impressed
