| I have a red Red Bravo 1.4SX. Very poor repairs done on (the other driver's) insurance. I needed a new rear quarter panel on the driver's side as someone came out of a side street, across two lanes and went straight into the side of me right behind the door. While I was sat in traffic no less. These are the problems I have found after receiving the car back from Boundary on Friday after them having the car for three days shy of one month: 1. The petrol cap is not flush. It sits about 1/4" recessed into the wing on one side. 2. The kick panel is cracked. 3. There is a gap between the dashboard and the trim which goes around the door. The trim is also scuffed and bent out of shape. 4. There is overspray on the windscreen rubber, black roof strip and door wires. Behind the rear wheel is undercoat and red overspray onto the chassis, brake pipes etc. 5. The water has been topped up (???) to two inches above maximum, also diluted (I know because I filled it properly with the right % of Bluecol not long ago). 6. They didn't bother to bring the spare key back which I had to take to them after they locked the key in the car. 7. The paint along the bottom and up the side edge of the door below the handle has been scraped off to bare metal and has been dodgily touched up, up the side only (the paint is still tacky). 8. The paint around the boot near the rubber trim on that side is flaking away already. 9. The inside is incredibly dusty. I'm getting someone from my insurance company to look at it before it goes back. All this from an 'approved' repairer. I must mention that I had a new front bumper and driver's side front wing a while back after a truck took them out while the car was sat outside my house. This was repaired at Fiat/Rover in Bury and while the paint match wasn't exactly 100%, the quality of the work done was second to none, a real professional job.

| Re: Boundary Garage - North Manchester (Bury) My insurance company says they have one chance to fix what's wrong so I took it back and showed a supervisor who says the work will be rectified on the 21st of August. He says he will provide a courtesy car and keep an eye on the work as it is done. He also said it won't take longer than a week. Found a few more problems too: 1. A big red fingerprint on the passenger window. 2. Overspray on the floorpan underneath the car and a terrible job at undersealing. The overspray is even on the exhaust heat shield and petrol pipe. 3. There are two large dents in the floorpan on the driver's side from axle stands or something. 4. A big mark of red paint on the roof lining above the rear window on the driver's side. 5. The lip running along the car underneath hasn't been folded over as it should be. Needless to say if it doesn't come back in A1 condition it's going to Fiat.

Anyway, it's back in now so they'd better get it sorted. Have got an 06 plate Corsa SXi 'til I get mine back.
