Thumbs down Is that a deal?

Wife and I went to a Midlands (Staffordshire)Fiat dealer this morning to test drive the GP Sporting 1.9 .
We were impressed with the car, but not with the comments made to us by the Dealer Principal that we were " rather old for a Sporting" 1'm 50 and the wife's **!, and then that he would offered us £300 less than book because our Crystal Green 1.4 Sporting 1.4 petrol is the wrong colour for a Sporting, Thats his bloody problem I don't want to know, just a fair deal will suffice, not a load of b******s about the problems of selling my car on, I dare bet he would'nt put it on the forecourt for £300 less.
Obviously we are a pair of decrepid old farts!! with no taste in colours either!!, well at least its nice to know where we fit in this big world and they say honesty is the best policy??
Not in this case though, our money and order will definitely going to Bostons of Milford, they may think it but at least have the good manners not to tell you that you are past itand have crap taste as well!
No name for the dealer in question but its along the A5 about 20 minutes from Cannock where we live.

Disgraceful behaviour. As I am unlikely to be passing that stealership I beg you to name the r.sole as I feel it is your duty.

Could the standard stereo pick up BBC Radio 4 ok though??

I don’t care if it’s a porn shoot in which he is being gang raped by a gaggle of silverback apes, if there are cameras rolling, everybody wins. 10 grand for anyone that can deliver this to me, today.

Re: Is that a deal?

Don't make the mistake as so many do that at 50 you do not enjoy driving!
and you tend to lose the tendency to assume so much , mind you with both feet in your mouth breathing must be a problem, let alone thinking!
LOL XX

Re: Is that a deal?

I agree about enjoying driving and being over 50 - my dad loves it, and he is now 60!

Although sadly he had to sell his SL500 recently due to having an epileptic fit. Still, only 19 odd months to wait

I hope I have the enthusiasm that you and PNL have for motoring when I get to 50.

Not long to wait really.
