ALL OF THEM!

Nope. Grays in Warwick have always been great. Excellent customer service both before and AFTER sale.

Reply to Fiat Expert - I took my Stilo to Horners in Burnley and they were very helpful, they ordered me some parts, that was last November and I still haven't heard from them, so I take it to Caledonia in Blackburn, they are very helpful friendly.

Surprised about your AHF experience as AHF in Winchester have always treated me fine, with respect and their repairs have always been solid.

The manager there is a nice guy, obviously a businessman but straight down the line.

They did sell me a new Marea with scratches all over it though, and didnt realise I overheard them talking about it in the carpark out the back, but I got it home and waxed it and lo and behold no scratches, so they are not always 100%. I know if I had taken it back having "noticed" the scratches they would have taken it back no questions asked.

However, asking a garage to do anything ( I asked AHF to look out for pristine X1/9s for me ) out of the ordinary, and they even agree to do it, don't expect them to ever bother.

nottingham fiat (london road) not very good at all purchased a brand new fiat punto from them 3 months ago since iv had the car its been back 10 times with having to have new cam belt, clunking on the steering, ventilation unit broke, door handle lost its colour, rev all over the place, the list is endless, the only thing that as been sorted is the door handle( well that sums the garage up)
there head office is even worse wrote to complain to the 6 times and noting as been sorted so iv gave them a week and then im taking it to watch dog and trading standards, fiat out of 100 = 1
has any one else had any problems simular to mine:(

Have had no problems with Perrys of Amersham, are always willing to have a look at my car and sort out my niggling problems ASAP.

My local dealers (County Motors Carlisle) are also always willing to look at the car and sort out any problems - then charge the earth for it. I WILL NOT be going back [:(!].

Avoid like the plague, THAMES Fiat dealership in west Slough!

Their workmanship, although bad, is thankfully not as bad as their customer relations! There's one guy in the service department, and if you want to speak to him you best read up on the language of "grunt" first![:(!]

lol! I'll tell you a story about Perrys.

Bought my Ulysse off them. On purchase the Climate control was constantly on (ie you could not turn it off). They agreed it would be fixed before delivery.

Upon delivery it was indeed fixed.

This was my first car with Air Con, and to be honest I didn't think much of it but put it down to the size of the car!!

18 months down the line I have a problem with my Air Con. My mechanic calls me and asks me if there was a reason why one of the air con motors was disconnected... when he plugs it in it's constantly on and can't be turned off!! Yep, that's right. Perrys, in stead of fixing it simply disconnected it!! In fairness they did refund the cost when I complained.

Shrewsburys Fiat delaer called inchcape retail.

they are a very large company so maybe it just this one but these guys are plonkers. I could give out name of people who work there that are so stupid they make worms look clever. 3 of them to be exact.

Also what used to be called waddem kenning (now inchcape) of shrewsbury.

These guys are robers, crooks whatever you want to call it they are total losers and if i saw one of them out of work, im sure ill give him a banana.

Avoid Reg Vardy's Springburn Road Glasgow and especially condescending, patronising, slimebag Martin on the service counter. He seems incapable of opening his mouth without uttering untruths and nonsense.

I'm contemplating adding Wilson's of Epsom to the avoid list, but I'll reserve final judgement just yet.

Story so far.....
THe boss books the car in for 24000 service. They ask if anything else is wrong, so she gives them her first stab at a list. Next day she rings them back to complete the list. "I'm sorry", they say, "you're not booked in". So, rebooks and gives them complete list of foibles.

Car goes in Thursday and they give her a Panda - what a laugh (but that's a different story). We know the car needs front tyres, but have left them to show that there's a problem of uneven wear. Gave them a quote for new tyres we'd had. Said they'd call back with their quote. You can guess that they didn't. The boss rushes back to collect the car in the evening to be told she couldn't have it back because the tyres are illegal. "Why didn't you phone me and tell me that?", she asks. Stunned silence. Mr's Dischuffed has to endure the Panda for another day.....[}:)]

Next day, goes back to collect car, but not everything is fixed because they didn't have all the parts, even though they knew the problems up front. On the plus side, they did beat the quote we had for tyres, so goo marks there :).

I'll give an update after the next visit next Friday......

Our next closest place is Bishop's in Guildford - any feedback on them?

Update as promised....

... took car back for them to do the missing bits. Got a text message to say car was ready (never had a text from a garage before). Went to collect...... and they still haven't finished. Only got one headlight cover, and something else hadn't come in. So, another round trip reuired. Good grief!

Avoid Arnold Clarke of Stourbridge....

See my posting here https://www.fiatforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10777 for my experiences of them this year......

When I complained and got the attention of their service manager I got a better level of service from them, but I don;t intend using them again.

Their sister dealership in Oldbury doesn't seem as bad, but they've not had the chance to do much to the car yet - will find out more in a few weeks when I need to get my 24000 mile service done!

John ;)

So I've noticed. My car has been back to them twice now for the problem I've paid £237 to be fixed, but hasn't. My car has started to play up with the same problem AGAIN! I'm not even gonna bother taking it back to them. So that's £237 down the drain. :(

Punto 55 SX all in black... That's my bitch!

Arnold Clark have a "monpoly" in Scotland, and Fiat here in Edinburgh - see www.arnoldsucks.com. . Recently asked Fiat why they sell through these t*ssers and got the name of an independant dealer - WM Cowan in Tranent. Anyone used these ? Thinking of an IDEA as a second motor, particularly a 1.3 Diesel - lovely! :)

Stay well clear of Toomey Fiat - Southend on Sea.

They are utterly useless!!!! :bang:
