Angry buckurst hill fiat glyn hopkins ltd

I picked up my brand new fiat punto grandas which i paid £9,200 on the 1st of march2006 only to find two dribbles marks on paint work scratches on it and also kinks in body work, when on ringing the rep as he had told us to do when we pointed the problems out before driving away, he was realy rude to me if that wasant bad enough after having the car for over a week they said it was all done after (we called them) when we arrived to get the car it had clearly not been done, what they had tryed to do was polish out the dribble marks which they ended up taking the lacker of the paint work and after pointing out the scratch marks that was still there the rep tryed to rub black wax over them right in front of us what a joke, After that it took them over a week again to decide they was going to respray it which again (we called them) to find that out and now from then it has been over ten days i havent heard a thing, i have never once got a phone call from them since i first order the car, BAD CAR DEALER SHIP would never ever recommend a fiat to anybody

Re: buckurst hill fiat glyn hopkins ltd

one bad dealer hardly!! I have experienced at least 5 bad local ones...one experience of citroen to date and they fixed a problem straight away plus they didn't leave grease on my seats (Perrys of Aylesbury) or brake something else (Curries of Watford) or constantly report no fault found (Pinneys of Luton).

You should email that customer service man mentioned on Talk Fiat forum as your car problem & dealer treatment is serious enough, his address will be his name with a . in between first name & surname plus then @fiat.com or @fiat.co.uk, just send it to both addresses.

Re: buckurst hill fiat glyn hopkins ltd

You have to send a letter to the MD and cc to Fiat UK saying they have 14 days to make a full refund to you before you start County Court Proceedings. The car was faulty when sold to you, they have failed to fix it and now you will accept nothing other than a full refund. Also tell them from the 14th day you will be using hire cars (or do you have a courtesy car?) and charging them for it and all other costs incurred as part of the court case.

Whilst sending this email Whatcar's help people as they take on a lot of cases, also if your local radio, BBC if possible, has a consumer programme in the day contact them too.
