Hi everyone,

I recently bought a Fiat Bravo 2010 1.6 Diesel Dynamic and I am SO excited about it. :slayer::slayer::slayer::slayer:

I recently moved to Manchester (Central) and need a good garage because i plan on having a FULL service for my Bravo.

can anyone recommend a good garage?

cheers

I was going to recommend the one I use, but that's in Sandbach, which is certainly an hour's drive away, however, although I haven't used them, people I know with other marques speak quite highly of Mitsiland in Denton, which is only about 5 miles from the City Centre.

There's a Sainsburys a five minute walk away and if you need to leave it, the 201 into Piccadilly is about ten minutes away on foot.

Personally I tend to go for a day out and have a drive into Cheshire to have our cars looked at by Alfie at Heath Road Garage in Sandbach. While they're doing the work I stroll into the village where there are two Italian eating houses to keep the Mediterranean feel going, Casa Mia and Raffaele. Both highly recommended. They're are almost worth the trip alone.

For some reason I can't get HRG's website up, but their phone number is:
01270 764214. Alfie's surname is Martone (Italian yer see) and he apprenticed and spent a large part of his career at Mangoletsi near Knutsford, the main Alfa & FIAT dealer.

Perhaps not quite what was wanted in a reply, but my local mechanic who has also worked on the Panda has decided he wants to work on trucks and plant at a gold mine in Africa. I think the real reason is that he gets to carry an AK47 and a Glock 17 while he's at work.

It's unreal how some of those gold mines are run!

Thanks for the reply and the useful information!

Well, I wouldn't mind going for a little trip and have my car serviced while I enjoy a walk and a meal, who wouldn't?

I was wondering though how can he be so prepared and have every spare part that he might need. from my past experience, I needed to leave the car in the garage at least for a day.

Unless you are so organised and know exactly what you want to have serviced and maybe provide the spare parts as well.
