I have to pass on these guys for anyone local or within a reasonable distance....

Can't recommend them highly enough!

They are hidden away, but what they don't know about fiats isn't worth knowing. Their history is based around many years of racing fiats, which then led to working on them for customers. Years later they moved onto racing Alfa's, which they continue to do at a serious level. Now listing as Fiat/ Alfa Specialist outfit. Looks can be deceiving on arrival at there unit but seriously get beyond that because they are 2nd to none imho.
Ok......So how did I find them?
I found them through an internet search as a result of a major problem with my fiat stilo schumacher. It produced a front end shudder and wobble under power/ load. The shudder just got worse and worse over several months until it got to the point when at anything over 60 mph felt like it was going to fall apart.
I jumped through all the obvious hoops, wheel balancing, wheel alignment, tyres, one alloy straightened etc and still getting worse.....all research pointing towards renewing both drive shafts. Dealer insisting on 'only' option being new drive shafts.
Having found this place I visited them and explained all. Straight away they advised that it was well known to them and that they usually solve it by simply cleaning and re greasing the cv joints. I genuinely didn't believe it initially and by this stage was handing new driveshaft replacement to them on a plate for silly money but they really stressed the importance of trying the regreasing first at a fraction of the cost.
To cut a long story short after they had cleaned and regreased the joints it was like new.....unbelievable....and cost me £70, I gave them an extra tenner I was so blown away by the experience.
They are a totally down to earth, no BS, bunch of fiat/ alfa enthusiasts who are genuine and honest (bloody hard to come by) and seriously deserve bigging up.
Because of their racing commitments in the summer you will have to be patient in terms of booking in, picking up etc, but well worth any wait, pass on them on!
