Hi,

I just wondered for the purposes of keeping a trivia anorak happy. Can anyone tell me what the name is at the bottom of the registration plate from new cars from each of these Fiat owned garages. I'm assuming all cars would have an 'L registration plate being registered in London? Also do the cars have a dealer window sticker on either the front or back? If so what does this have on it? Thanks!

each number plate should have the jepson standards code it conforms too or it is not legal to use on the public highway, there should also be the garage / shop name that made your number plate too...

So mine says Wilco Motosave, BD15. under the registration and to the right, jepson esn blah blah blah.

My Alfa Romeo which I bought ex-demo from Motor Village Oxford (part of the same company as Motor Village Croydon, London etc) says 'Fiat Marylebone' on the number plates, Motor Village Marylebone on the tax disc holder and Motor Village Oxford on the dealer sticker in the back window. The plates begin with 'LS'.

Motor Village Oxford was bought by Unity Automotive in 2014 so all the Motor Village dealers in the UK are now in the London area again.

My Sisters Alfa which was bought brand new from Motor Village Oxford said Motor Village Oxford on the number plates and Chrysler Oxford on the tax disc holder. It didn't have a sticker in the window. The plates began with 'OY' (Oxford), but it's been sold now as it was a disaster!

Do you get any kind of branded keyring with a car from Mtor Village either dealer or manufacturer? What documentation do you get?

Did you get any kind of branded key ring or anything else branded?

Myself and my Sister got a red leather Motorvillage keyring with a plastic Alfa badge on it. Apart from that, just an invoice, no other documents as far as I can recall.

Thanks do you still have the key ring? If so are you able to upload a photo?
