Had my Abarth GP gearbox repaired by Daz at Hilly's Auto's yesterday.
Wow is all I can say. Daz repaired the gearbox in a day. He does the replacement of the bearings without the costly removal of the gearbox, instead working taking off the casing.
He knew what it was when he drove it, informed me when he had stripped it to let me know what was wrong and what the cost would be (the same as quoted) and told me when it'd be ready for. The price was very reasonable, in fact the cheapest quote id managed to get by a couple of hundred!!
If anyone needs their gearbox repaired and they are in the Staffordshire/West Midlands area, speak to Hilly's Autos.
