Costco tyre fitters

Anyone bought tyres from Costco? People I work with have told me they are the cheapest place to have tyres fitted and they sell most brands.

Cheers

Yeah. I used them on my old Cinq SX a few times. 145/70R13 for about £17 with £1 for balancing and fitting.

The tyres were OK (they just dont slide as easily as the twice-as-much, wider Nankangs on my Sporting!!) .

Re: Costco tyre fitters

They are cowboys

I used to work in Costco, the tyre fitters in our store managed to loose the keys IN THE TYRE. as they were putting it on.

They do sell cheap tyres which are good value, but just don't let them fit them

If your based in the manchester one ( near trafford park )

it could have been worse! you could have gone to kwikfit, who damaged the floor of my brava by completely missing the jacking point, it cost them £300 to put it right.

Re: Costco tyre fitters

that always makes me cringe in garages where they just throw the lifting arm randomly under the car and lift it.

Surely that's an urban legend? Wouldn't it be extremely obvious?
