Useless idiots!!!

My local dealers Leaders Fiat, Liverpool!!!

Took my car (MK1 Punto 60S) in for Service and Brakes as they got me some vouchers (Cost £183, Service, Rear shoes, Rear Cylinders). They said it was gonna be done by half 2 (It was in Half 8) I go to work get there for half 3, it's not done!!, was there till 6pm!!!! I phoned them and told them i needed the brakes doing and they said they'd keep the parts, Yesterday they said they had to order them in!!!

My car does my head in when i get it fixed as i turn up and it's never finished, so i can't pick up the other half, She gets wound up as she works 8 miles away from her house.

To make it worse, next pay day, gottat go back and get front shocks done, and they are leaking but they said the leak is not too bad.

Why go back? You drive a Mk1 Punto and you take it to the main dealers? This makes no sense. You're paying dealer rates for no good reason. Find a good local garage (non-main dealer) with a good reputation and take the car to them. Not only will you get better service you will also save money!

Problem is finding a decent garage!! Only other one i know bodged my head gasket twice on the other car!! Local Quick fit have a bad rep. and the cars from carcraft with 2 year warrenty, (Brakes not covered as wear and tear) and it needs to go to a VAT registered Garage.

Dealer has a offer for £69.99 for front shocks, is this any good??

Can anyone from Liverpool on the forum recommend a good garage?

Needs to be VAT registered though or my warrenty will be invalid.

If anyone can, i live between Huyton/Dovecot (Hers/Mine) and Leaders are in Bootle which is 8 miles away!!!

Have to agree with Steve Ask around your mates or check out a local car forum for recommendations.

the local quick fit's are VAT Registered but are no good, all the locals have a bad rep from people i know.
I'll keep asking round and see what i get.
