Hi

I had Nationwide Acident repair centre fix my car after a small knock. It came back with bits broken, rear bumper scratched (Front end damage it went in for) 8 times I sent it back and now 18mths later they have to re-spray the car as rust is apearing on a part they fixed!, they said "Sorry the paint was to thin" then I get it back with things not working, panels under the car missing and more paint cracking, electrical issues. the car is only 3yrs old!!!!!!11

So pass this on to everyone

NATIONWIDE ACIDENT REPAIR CENTRES ARE TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.
Useless managers / staff / QA is unheard of, sending people out with illegal cars.

I feel better for warning you all.

Had the same trouble at Nationwide in Portsmouth, the first repair was total crap. Within 60 seconds I spotted at least 10 major faults.

I had broken trim, poor paintwork, missing fittings, rear door hitting frame and taking off paint, missing bolts, loose fuel filler, dirty finger prints all over roof lining.

I made them lend me a car and do the whole job all over again. The second time wasn't too bad, but I sent them a fax with all the items to fix so they had no excuse.

Looks like the problem is Nationwide, (I know its a terrible pun), ours came back from Nationwide, Newport, S wales. After nearly two weeks for 1 door. It doesnt close like it should and the paintwork is starting to reveal the primer in places. Oil marks on the trim, a poor attempt at a valet and a bunch of flowers to say sorry it took so long! Looks like a days work the state of it! Why are major insurers using these cowboys?
