Right here goes my story.

My new punto had delvoped a wondering speedo (can sometimes be doing 30mph when stationary!!), sometimes it overreads a little then others it underreads/ goes dead.
Took it to garage on the wednesday, guy had a look (can't remember his name so lets call him Mike) and said that it might be build up of dirt/ dodgy earths, so booked it in for an hour on the saturday morning. And if what he does doesn't make any difference then he wouldn't charge which sounds top shelf.

Turned up on Saturday morning, 'No sorry your not booked in today, come back someother time' (bearing in mind this garage is an hour and somethings drive), and Mike was 'off Ill'

Eventually we got them to look at it, they took a whole hour (@£65 an hour) and hadn't done anything that was of any benefit, I'm not even sure he even moved the car (still in exact same place when I came back), then tried to charge me £58 for labour and £40 for a new part (which Mike said they couldn't order anymore and don't have any in stock, so where did this part come frome??), I refused payment until this new guy could show me any improvement, which there was none, so he let me have the part free (pretty sure there is no new part, as dust is still in exact same place inside dial pod), and then wanted £58 for labour that he obviously hadn't done.

great ehh??

DO NOT USE FIAT OR ANY OTHER MAIN LINE DEALER, the dodgy gargage at the end of the road does a much better job, and failing that do it yourself!
