Norris brothers tamworth, be ware !!!!

I took my gp to them because i have got a strange nocking noise from the front. I went out with the mechanic in the car so he could hear the noise, when we got back he said that they would have to look deeper into the problem and that would be £37.99 so i said ok after 10 mins he comes back to me again and says he can't see anything and they need to take the wheels off so they can do a more indepth look.
Get this bearing in mind i have already given them £40 he wanted more money to take the faking wheels off !!!!! I have never heard anything like it before. So basically at Norris brothers tamworth they charge you £40 to lift the car up off the ground and everything else extra. That is my worst main dealer or any other garage experiance i have ever had i am absolutly disgusted and i refused to pay £40 for 10 mins work in the end i got them down to £30

what car have you got? also was it fixed?

I have got a 1.9 mjet gp. No it wasn't fixed i told them to forget it, all they where doing was slowly ramping up the price it started at £40 then they wanted more to take the wheels off. I think if i had let them i would have had a bill well over £100 just for them to look at it.
Its not like taking off the front wheels is very involved work you would think that for £40 they would do at least that.

Norris Brothers seem to score quite highly on Fiat.co.uk's Customer Rating system, with 4 out of 5 stars.

However, very interestingly, Fiat.co.uk says that Sutton Park, also in Tamworth is now accredited for Sales, Parts and Servicing. Im sure this never used to appear on the dealer locator.

I wonder if Fiat are onto some of their bad dealers and are lining up replacements in readiness for the axe to fall. Seems almost too good to be true, but one can hope.

This garage may have been trading for a number of years but they certainly haven't learned how to deal with customers.
I have emailed them several times concerning a car they have for sale and they haven't even bothered to reply. They are obviously ill-bred and do not deserve any custom. How long does it take to type a few words of acknowledgement?
Fiat should get rid of them. I wouldn't have a car from this garage if they were giving them away.

Based on my experiences at their Coventyry branch, I would also avoid Sutton Park (Sutton Park Coventry only get 3 stars, and if I get surveyed that will be moving down not up )

How about trying Motormech, Birmingham, Italian Car Specialist, they have earned their great reputation on the FCCUK site dealing with Coupe's and Alfa's. Down to earth advice and prices.

Funny how experiences differ.

I have always found them to be first rate from sales through to service.

They sound even worse than Kwik Fit!
