Re: Failed Mot - Please Help!!

They are easy enough to fit, but I expect they would cost a few quid from Fiat.

Re: Failed Mot - Please Help!!

I had to change a cinq one for the MOT, the little claw bits on the adjuster go brittle and break off - especially if you have to put pressure on them, say when changing a bulb and pressing the electrical connector on. The cinq beams drop too low to be safe in the dark if this happens, how about a trip to a breakers for some 'new' ones? They ain't too hard to change but you might need them setting up properly for the MOT. A friendly tester should adjust them there and then for you.

There are online shops that sell them, if anyone has the links?

They will also fail if they dont give a correct beam pattern, are the reflectors dull/rusty?

Re: Failed Mot - Please Help!!

I have the current problem on mine now, I did have a headlight which was cracked at the top ( the plastic bit which screws in)
but funnily enough it was't the broken one which waas scew-if, the beam on left hand side is way up north sky high, doesn't touch road even on the 3 adjustment....the broken side was fine, looks a bit weird but least it hit the road, so i went and got a new light from scrappy and put it in fine, as expected the beam was fine. so I guess im going to have to get somone to adjust them. as its pissing me off as i have no light when driving at night ( i even upgraded to 50%+ super brilliance bulbs from halfruads)
