Hi Everone,

I'm new to the Fiat brigade as I have just purchased an early Grande Punto 1.9 Sporting, and was wondering if anybody knew of any Fiat specialists in the Somerset / Dorset area.

Having spent more than I should have on the car, I need to watch the pennies!! Having said that you can't beat the service that you get from small independents! Better than the the rip of dealers anyway....

I'm lucky, I live in Somerton where Lui runs Lui's LB Autos with his brother John and Chris. They specialise in Italian cars and kept my Brava and now my Grande Punto going, as well as my son's MkII Punto. I've tried main dealers but got frustrated by their incompetence. You could try Fiat specialist Vale Auto Services which has just opened near Henstridge on the A30 Shaftesbury road. The workshop is run by an ex-main dealer mechanic who wanted a new challenge. They've just serviced my '04 punto which included cam belt change and am very happy with the work done, which was also very reasonably priced. Have a chat with Adam on 01963 362843 and he'll be happy to give you a quote.
