Re: Any Fiat Specialist Garages near Oxford?

Ive always had good results from Palmer & Philips near Oxford. Theyre Fiat & Alfa Specialists. Theyre not a main dealer so there's no fancy choices of drinks while you wait or anythin like that, but they have a Punto courtesy car, which seems to be available quite readily.

Ive had about 5 services done by them on my Mk2 Punto JTD, a cambelt change, front & back brakes & an air con pipe repaired by them, & never had to go back due to something not being done correctly.

Theyre not the cheapest im sure, but ive never bothered to check anywhere else as they no their stuff and im so confident in leaving my car with them that when im in Manchester i drive it back down to Oxford for any work to be done on it, rather than take it anywhere else.

My mate has also had cambelt, brakes, servicing and suspension work done by them on his Alfa 147 & was totally happy with the work too.

Theyre on: Peterley Rd, Horspath Industrial Estate, Oxford, Oxfordshire OX4 2TZ. Tel: 01865 749600. Theyre very close to the Mini Factory. Hope that helps

Re: Any Fiat Specialist Garages near Oxford?

They quoted me 950 for a 20v 2.0l cambelt change, but I got it done by motor mech in birmingham for 434 + vat..( including water pump )
It was fast and efficient sevice and worth the travel costs.

I've used Palmer and Philips, they are OK. Know Fiats well not outrageously priced and you can actually see the car being worked on. I would defo use them again.
