Re: SGM Fiat, Southampton

If you are referring to SGM at Sarisbury Green. I've had my warrantry work done by them. They are OK, but expensive like most dealers. They were the ones who told me that they would have to replace my rear beam as it was not possible to get replacement bushes from FIAT. They had the grace to look ashamed when I said that I had a set of the replacement bushes in the car. They still said that they couldn't fit them as they didn't have the correct tool. The tool is just a 10tonne press, which I would have thought any self respecting garage would have.

To be fair to them (not defending them!) but it depends on your chassis number if they can be changed also they can only be changed once. There is a 'special' tool available but heat & press works however it is more akward/time consuming.
