Does any one know of any in the Sheffield area - I really don't want to pay £350 to change the front discs to a main dealer.

Why not have a go yourself? What car is it for?

Just as you look as though your going to give a full DIY run down on the job, all interest vanishes....
Just shows, you can`t win. should have said `take it to a main dealer` instead.


I think my own help and advice on the forum is just about over,(apart from the occasional visit) but just wanted to say I admire your persistence

Its not a case of 'interest vanishes' its more like I have hundreds of posts to read every night If djemmo wanted more help then someone would be along to help as always

The Forum? well, there is a feeling of `nowhere to roost` regarding the Punto van LOL, so for a while I followed the interest of the engine across its applications and later started trying to answer some questions in `new posts`.

Burnout with filtering it, someone`s done around 1,500 posts in 3+ months of mostly one liners LOL ( and good luck to them, that`s youth

Anyway, not goodbye, just spending more time discussing tech interest in general on the HJ forum

Never leave a forum completely though, that`s my way,
