Knowing Lloyd for many years and having worked with him together for longer than both of us wish at times I can only recommend him to anyone.

He is getting all the jobs from me I hate to do on my own cars (I do not trust anyone else) and I refer anyone to him who wants to do serious tuning on modern as well as classic cars.

He is not the cheapest workshop in the UK, but you get quality accordingly.

hi oldschool im a newbie bought a 1.8 stilo dynamic 5 door 2002 and just rang clovertech after reading your comments as i live not to far from them im in Hainault ive got the service parts and cambelt kit already indoors and they quoted 230 for labour and all lubricants etc needed.

your opinion on this would be appreciated

sounds ok to me oil n coolent isnt cheap and stilo are pain in the arse to work on every thing takes ages to do

This qoute is not outrageous. For what he has quoted you you will get all fluids changed, the service done as it should be (Lloyds standard is genereally above what you would get from virtually all dealers) and a proper inspection of the car.

I would go for it, because he is giving you quality for a moderate price.

Hi oldschool sorry for the late reply i finally took the car down to clovertech today in the morning as you know already had the parts so just needed lubricants/oils etc and anything else on top total came up just under £256 for the full service and cambelt change.

I didnt mention it but When I got called with regards to the car being completed I asked about the diesel engine type sound each time when started and Lloyd mentioned a variator and quoted part and labour etc for £230 which is not to bad considering the part is abit pricy and he did mention a good few hours to do the job.

So I shall be picking it up tomorrow after thats done too.
