International customers beware of the ....

International customers beware of the extended warrenty!!!

I bought a stilo abarth 2,4 2 years ago in Spain.
I am Danish and are often in Denmark so my problem is that:
I bought a 3 year extra warrenty for our car and now we have a problem with the car and cant get it repaired by the fiat dealer in Denmark and he will not let us drive from the Fiat Mechanic because of the airback system has a fail on it.
So right now our Fiat car is stranded in DK.

So because targasys now have split up and the support are no longer in Italy we cant get any help anywhere even do we have paid for our insurrance €480 when we bought the car for 3 extra years of warrenty.

The Danish fiat support center i called said that they could not help me (because the car was not bought in Denmark)
and that i needed to call Spain because the Danish insurrance company
(wich before was targasys and now changed to something else)
wi ll not cover the Spanish insurrance companys responsibilities because the car was not bought in Denmark.
I do not speak Spanish but Danish or English so when i called Spain they said nobody speaks english and sorry we cant help you.

Then again i called the Danish fiat support line and again they said they could not help because they could not speak spanish but they suggested that i should talk with the Embassay!
And ofcourse i would not wanna call a Embassay to deal with my Fiat inssurance as that is not ther responcebility.

Then i called to a friend on Mallorca in Spain who speaks english and he called the Spanish targasys and was told that he should tell me to call to Denmark fiat support line and show the Fiat dealer my inssurance paper (wich they already saw and took a copy of)
and when they would see this insurrance paper they would repair our warrentied car and find out who should recive the bill
for ther work on the car.But the DanishFiat dealer called the Fiat inssurance company in Denmark and was told that because the car was Spanish then they would not have anything to do with it!..So now we have a 2 year old car standing in a Danish fiat garage and the fiat extended warrenty is not covering as promised and nobody wanna help with this....that is very dissapointing indeed.

So beware of the covering internationally because it wont work as smoth as it is presented when you sign the contract.
