Service/MOT Garage in NorthEast

Hey all. I'm due an MOT at the end of October and wouldn't mind having a decent check over/service of the car beforehand (mk1 Punto 60s). I'm in Darlington atm, but anywhere nearby would be ok. I just need somewhere decent i can trust because the guy i use to go to doesn't do services and things anymore he just does car bodywork
