New Watford dealer

I see the old Peugeout dealer 'Palmers' has become a Fiat dealer on St Albans Road.

Anyone in Watford know about this?

not yet, but i shall take a mosey past there later this week and say "hello", and attempt to order the little clip i broke on the panda, sorry did i say "i broke"? honey, i meant i found it broken...no really, i did....don't make me bleed again.....

popped in their earlier, still in the process of switching the branding etc over, staff all still got pug shirts on, etc. decent selection of cars, a lovely new black bravo 150 taking centre stage, with a red 100hp.

hopefully once up and running they can fill the gap in service left by curries and pinneys bailing out

I've just moved to watford, and i'm looking for a garage to change the timing belt on my fiat coupe 20v turbo. Anyone got any recommendations?

I was planning to ask the Watford Fiat Dealer about it, but visited Bushey Hall Garage instead, and they quoted me about £110 for timing belt replacement on my Cinquecento...

Palmers are a rip off franchise, I rang them for a 2 year service quote on my Picasso they came back with £300! Rang two other local dealers got quotes of £202 and £225.

Rang Palmers back, not one to take consumer rip off lightly!! Asked what exactly I am geting for my £300 they put me throught to a 'tech' he said 'most of that is labour mate' I said how much of it he said 'most' I said thanks and bye!

Palmers have Citroen, Peugeot, Skoda and now Fiat franchises in Watford. I think I have wrote on here before about every night I pass Palmers Fiat dealer there are a gang of shirt and tie blokes staring vacantly into the night sky, practically licking the windows. I am no way subsidising these sales guys wages! Also once saw the mature mechanics setting off a rocket outside the workshop, nice and safe....really want them pratting about with my engine!
