Re: Stoneacre Fiat Peterborough

I had my Stilo serviced there a couple of months ago. The girl on the desk was polite & helpful; the courtesy car was a brand new Grande Punto; the work was completed promptly. The only minus points would be:
.
1. The handover of the car was a little bit muddled: my car wasn't on the forecourt ready as promised, the book wasn't stamped as promised, but these small points were quickly rectified.
.
2. The "service due" dash warning message hadn't been removed as the workshop's diagnostic system had been sent back to Italy because "someone had broken it". I still haven't got around to sorting that out - is your diagnostic thingy back from its Italian holiday yet?
.
The plus point: I asked to pay the courtesy car fee with my final bill and the girl behind the counter forgot to add it on. Free courtesy car - back of the net!
.
I'd say overall about 7/10.

Although I don't live in your area, I get the impression that you are genuinely concerned about customer service. Is this from a personal point of view, a dealer initiative or in response to Fiat UK's drive to improve.

Personally , I don't mind where it comes from so long as the dealer network does the product justice.

Re: Stoneacre Fiat Peterborough

Well i brought some drop links for my mums stilo as one had broken and was rattling like hell, so decided i might aswell change both. When i rang up for a price, i was told they were between £10-15 each including vat as i hadnt got her chassis number infront of me could tell me exactly how much they were! So that should have been around £30 combined, looked around the net on shop4parts, the right one with delivery was about £35-37 not much difference. And my freind that works as a parts manager in another fiat offered then for £30 delievered. But i thought it would just be a hassle of waiting for them, id get them from stoneacre straight away. Between ringing up for the price on the drop links and going to collect them was a week, as i went away for the week! When i went in to collect the apparently in that week inbetween me ringing there had been a "price review" and the drop links were now £42 inc vat, to say i was slitghly pi$$ed that the price had gone up by £12 i would have rather ordered them else were! But seens i had to get them as i had the day off work to fit them. So a big thumbs down from me as it defeats the object of ringing up to check the price and theb being ripped off by another £12!!!

I did see the sign, please say if your a member of fiatfourm! NB:not my spelling mistake, just how it was on the board, did make me giggle to myself! ...its forum

Yes thats my impression, I think `Stoneacre Fiat Parts` , is a positive presence on the forum,
Doesnt matter to me whether its personal, something to do with fiat, or even Bob

Its obviously a dealership trying to do well, thats all that matters in my book

Regards

Time to get the T shirts out

Makes me wonder what would happen if I got the Punto van lettered up advertising the forum on its side panels. Then put it in for a service
