Re: Fiat Dealerships

Try posting in 'garages' section & not stilo ---> moved by mod

Why would a garage say your engines dead?

Re: Fiat Dealerships

You seem to forget garages are under scrunity from every angle thesedays, its unlikely ANY garage would say a engine is needed if its not.

If your that paranoid then set a limit........e.g.'one hour diagnostic' then report to me the fault or straight foward service no screenwash/pollen filter etc.

Re: Fiat Dealerships

When you get the car repaired or serviced you can ask for any broken or worn out parts to be returned to you. You can then check them for yourself or if you are in any doubt get a second opinion and unltimately take them to trading standards for an opinion. I did this about 15 years ago, found out the garage had done done work that didn't need doing. Never went back and complained to trading standards about the garage.

Re: Fiat Dealerships

only go to a dealer for a diagnsotic or for something that requires the examiner smart machine (e.g. TPS relearn procedure). this usually costs £65 per session. absolutely everything else should be done diy or private, no exceptions.
