GoldenEye: Source is a modification of Half-Life 2, with only one goal in mind; to bring the memories and experiences from the original GoldenEye64 back to life using Source Technology. We want you to look at this mod and remember the first best multiplayer first-person shooter ever made. We are doing our best to bring in the opinions of the community to create a game that everyone is going to enjoy. But, we are not here to recreate the game exactly how it was in GE64, a lot of things have changed since they first designed that game, mainly in technology and gamers experiences. We are here to take the game even further but at the same time provide a lot of those fun elements that hardcore GE64 fans will enjoy. We've got experienced team members all across the board, from professional level, to amateurs looking to make it into the business working hard to make this dream a reality.

Now im downloading this as i think Goldeneye for the N64 was just amazing and im going to install it and play it for ageslol

just thought id give you guys the heads up on it, it was released soemtime today

i posted that on another forum just no, thougth id give you the heads up, ive just played it now its all installed and i must say its f**king amazing, the quality isnt up to scratch compare to alot of games but thyeyve got everything pretty close to the original, guns maps players and such. Though when i went on there were only 3 servers in total to choose from lol

the mod will be but you will need half life 2 to apply it.

Half Life 2 comes in a box at the shops for 20 quid or you can buy Half Life 2 on steam for $20 (i think) which is jsut over 10 quid, you need Steam to run it www.steampowered.com and the Goldeneye Source Mod is free

p.s. if you do go to buy half life 2 try and get Counter Strike Source with it as well, you wont regret it lol, alot of people on here play it [FiatForum]
