So I've played this game for. Well. Ages.
I only recently found you could take photos on it! and failing be able to find too many exciting cars in the real world, this'll have to do.

Anyone else do anything similar??

Really cool!

Lovely car too!

You've done well to get yours to come out that well, I've got one from when I had GT5 although I may have taken it to highlight how horrendous no premium cars are.

Never really got on with 5 but 6 was better, traded in all my 360 games and PS3 games when I got my one.

Couple more Forza 6 but in game not garage because pretty.

Haha thanks. The trick is to use it as if it's an actual camera I think! It's really tricky trying to guess what the f number/exposure will do before the silly game renders it. Each one too a few goes, I'll admit. Know what you mean though. GT5 is surprisingly.. ugly at times.

That middle one looks like a photograph! So awesome looking! :D

Rain effects on FM6 are the best I've ever seen even if modelled puddles and associated aqua planing is a pain in the arse..(look at the puddle in the bottom pic!).

If you haven't already I'd recommend the upgrade to GT6 (should be cheap enough by now) just for the festival of speed events which look amazing, photograph well and are good fun.

Oh wow!

I was tempted to get GT6. But I've only just really got back into 5, and not sure if 6 is different enough, if that makes sense?

Also hoping to just get a PS4 and need for speed when it's all out!

Hmm, I remember 6 being a significant improvement over 5. More polished overall definitely, although all the flaws GT has had since the PS2 version and even back as far as PS1 were still in rude health. So rubbish sound, endless grinding for money, mostly Japanese car roster..all present and correct plus the two tier premium and hilarious cars. Worth 15 quid or so though.

Wouldn't hold your breath for NFS personally they operate on a law of averages, release enough games one will be good.

Edit:

Some more Forza photobombing.

I'm gonna have to work hard to top some of those shots. Albeit slightly limited by the game.

I might look at GT6 - I'm a big fan of japanese cars, so that's more than okay with me. But yeah, I know the problems you mean. Not as annoying as Saint's Row where regardless of what speed you do, the car constantly makes accelerating noises!

The new NFS looks more like what I want. Open world, customization, and finally, a game that's not all about the super cars! I hate games where you start in something like an Aston!

Some more, just because. Managed to get myself an LFA. Very snazz.

Love the noise/interior of the LFA, also have you stanced a Volvo lol.

I could compete with a Forza LFA civic and Volvo but no, I'll think I'll go with showcasing something GT doesn't have.

Firstly:

Second no idea why this is in a track racing racing game, even less idea why one of the mods available is to add a roof rack, light guards and a snorkel...however:

LFA is bonkers. I love the spoiler raising at speed. :D
And yes. Stanced Volvo. I will be the coolest "scene kid" in the Tesco's carpark. I really guiltily like that Volvo actually. :yum:

Haha that's so cool! Is Motorsport all track then, and Horizon more free roam orientated?

Motorsport is track orientated yeah, the only free roam bit is a Ken Block style open area with hangars and planes. Horizon is open world with dumbed down physics and lower frame rate.

I'd be prepared to sacrifice physics and frame rate for open world to be honest. This all neither here nor there though, because I've got a PS3 now, and probably will get a PS4 anyway. Maybe..

Owning a PS3 and a 360 put me off PS4 TBH. I get annoyed at open world Forzas the world is so dead compared to say GTA V, especially now GTA includes an inside car view.

Well, I'll need to do a serious sit down and think about which console. It's a tough call!

Which ever one your friends have is usually the sensible choice otherwise online gaming is a bit lonely!

Speaking of GTA...gotta love the HD revamp although full effect doesn't quite land in compressed pictures. It's not Forza in sheer zoom in and marvel but the level of detail and scope in the world is amazing.

Also you can finally get those Range Rover drivers who just pull out back...

1) I bought GT6. I love it. It's prettier, it has more tracks, more cars that appeal. So sold. I spent so much money then realised I was only on the European manufacturers!

2) There's a 4K mod for GTA. It's photo realistic. It's actually scary to watch!

Festival of speed with a steering wheel in a red bull x 1 is insane..like watching it on times 4 fast forward.

Haha I'm loving the goodwood hillclimb course. It's like my testing ground for cars I've tinkered with.

The SRT Tomahawk is the maddest car I've ever driven, was actually too fast to drive up the narrow track! Will throw up new photos lol.

I want a steering wheel. :(
