Of course, but considering the huge amount of time they took to produce this title, you'd think they might have tweaked them just a little bit.

Don't get me wrong, I've already collected up a few Fiats in my garage.

In the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (via AndriaSang), Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that [at least some of] GT5’s “standard” cars will be upgraded to “premium” models in future updates to the game. This is good news for many fans who may have initially been disappointed their favorite car didn’t get the “premium” treatment (with a more detailed 3D model and interior view), though we still don’t know, of course, which or how many models will actually be upgraded:

Gran Turismo 5 has a mix of gloriously detailed “premium” cars and less detailed “standard cars.” In an interview with Famitsu this week, Polyphony prez Kazunori Yamauchi reveals that there are plans in place to upgrade the standard cars to premium status.
The interview also sheds some light on the upcoming late December update, it seems. I’ll hopefully be getting a look at the interview for myself shortly and will report back if there’s anything else.

No you dont.

You can do them as much as you want but only get the money and XP once, unless thats what you meant.

Won all of them apart from the 500 one, rest are easy as hell.

I'll just have a quick go on GT 5 i said. that was an an hour and half ago now

First time i've tried playing it so it wanted to download a game update, which was 608 mb in size and took about an hour to download.

Yes happy days i thought, lets get GT 5 going! Oh what's this message - wants to save game data to hard drive - no problem - half an hour later still bloody waiting :bang:

OK people... I decided to get hold of GT5 after christmas and DAMN I aint stopped playing it!

Everyone talking about "Level 20, Level 40"... is that just online?? because I aint been online yet and I can only see cars up to level 24 in GT mode...?

I'm a n00b atm... but a Level 12 n00b none the less

You only need to be level 24 to buy all the cars in the game except one I think.

Make sure you look in the Used car dealership aswell. Thats where the 'standard' cars are, 6 of them change after every race.

I have been getting every cup as Gold, so I guess thats possibly the way you can get the last car which you cant get by level 24.

The last car is the Red Bull X2010. If you get to level 35 in B-spec you get one for free, level 30, I think, unlocks the challanges for it but you have to be level 40 to buy it.

Got a '71 Dodge Charger, but really want the '70 one as well, so if anyone is able to purchase one, and trade it with me i'm sure i can supply a suitable car in exchange.

It's a simple model unfortunately, so should hopefully be received as a prize or bought secondhand.

I swapped a Stratos Rally Car for the '71, So it's definitly a good deal for whoever is able to find me a charger!

I think I have that Charger... in a gold paintwork.

I bought a Buick 1962 Special which I have now modified up to just under 700BHP.... its so fast lol

Sorry Maddogmorg it's a Dodge Charger 1971 super Bee 426 Hemi which is probably the one you have. If I come accross a 1970 ill remember this thread

Quick tip: Can't win the Daytona Speedway with the TRUCK CHALLENGE? DODGE RAM 1500

For people who may have trouble with the Amateur Cup TRUCK challenges... the Daytona speedway circuit made my Dodge RAM 1500 top out at 132mph eventhough It was tuned to 100bhp more than the top competitor.... Result: Speedway meant that all other trucks were faster, and all of the Dodge RAM's were in the bottom 3 places after 3 laps.

Solution:
Buy the 20,000credit Fully Customizable Drivechain... then in your Garage, you need to modify the "Top Speed" of the drivechain to over 199mph
(In your GARAGE, Click on your DODGE RAM, then SETTINGS, then select DRIVECHAIN, then tick FULLY CUSTOMIZABLE "LSD?" lol and then on the LITTE SPEED DIAL IMAGE on the right hand side of that, then scroll down to select the TOP SPEED NUMBER, then drag the horizontal bar to the RIGHT so that the gear ratio's are changed and the TOP SPEED is increased)... That allows your top speed to reach 152mph = winning

customised gears are essential on virtually all tuned cars, the short ratio options are FAR FAR FAR too short to be of any use on any car on any track!

i used lambo thingy the smaller new one. gallardo or something - bad at spelling soz

costs alot less and you need it for another event also

O yea thats what I done but you must be a better driver than me cos I can only get 3rd place with my lambo... modified to about 750bhp, but as the 1st n 2nd players are near 900bhp I cant get the edge on them!
I've heard it's hard getting the Nascar race as gold!

I'm currently doing a course at uni on automotive eng and motorsport so im doing suspension, engine mods, remaps etc

so i did some of thses mods on my lambo and got it to go around corners Very well indeed
