Live for speed

I was until 3am last night! Was great fun.

It was you pacman, sorry for not mentioning you by name but I hadn't looked, just gone to check out the site. Can't wait now to get home and have another few laps! Might also have Medal of Honour delivered, I'm becoming a game's freak! lol

It took me 70 seconds to download guys, come on! :P = the German mirror site was 6 x quicker than the main one.

I noticed that you get idiots who like to drive at the first corner at a stupid speed knocking yourself off when you're staying back ready to take advantage etc. I will try the server when I get on later. Stu. you should have no problems if you're using SP2 firewall, just click to allow - I do however believe you use more than that.

Pacman, if you have chance, could you suggest what any new users should get? I just got the demo download and no patches yet could play ok...

I will certainly consider going for the "full" version if it's as entertaining as it was last night.

Just a question, does the demo only have those three cars I seem to see and the one track I have raced on or was I missing something in my tirdness?

Cheers and sorry for expecting a quick start guide from somebody who is obviously a vetran - I just know how much it can put people off if it's difficult to get into a playable position!

the demo as it is now is up to date already .... as far as i know

the demo verion (44mb) download just has the 3 cars and that 1 track which also has a rally cross version (both have forward and backwards configurations)

the other bigger demo version is for anyone who wants to try the demo but want to go on and unlock the extra content with that lil £12 fee!. Stage one (S1) of Live For Speed unlocking 5 extra cars, drag strip, auto cross and a few more tracks

still, i recommend visiting the lfs site and forum for more infomation though as that was very basic

wat cars u get and wats track like. ill get this for sure when i get home. better get the old faithful stick out... (thats joy stick for u twisted minded people(that joystick for the pc for the even more twisted minded people))

Back online now - firewall was easy, just had to change NAV setting from block to allow; I must have clicked Block ALL ports when it is first installed by accident!

Who is about now for a blat? Shall we use the same server as on the other thread - FIAT FORUM RACERS p/word FIAT??

theres a code system to show what cars our aloud to be used in a server either F, R, or T... F being the small FF GTi, R Being the coupe' real wheel drive car and T being the Turbo version of the coupe'

i'll start the server for a quick game now ( password fiat)
