Anyone else play this online pc game?

My bf plays this from when he gets up till when he goes to bed (literally). He can be up till like 4-5am in the morning playing it and its a no go area to get a conversation out of him at any point. He has been playing it for the past year and now they go and bring another one out. The expansion pack or something it is.

Ive even known people that have had affairs through it! Its only a game and i dont understand it all but apparantly its a fantastic and popular game with something like 11 million people that are members.

Ive never played it myself although i did pretend to play it at one point which gave my bf a fright. It meant he would have to share the computer and miss precious time playing it. His pc being the only one capable of running the game properly.

Should be banned lol

Ive told him hes out the door if he doesnt book his ideas up. Hes not the only one I know that plays it all the hours god sends either.

I suppose a good thing about it is i know where he is and it isnt costing very much.

You really should have added should i ditch my boyfriend on that poll and i think the answer would have been unanimous, i have a friend a bit like that he's got like a squillion xbox points he works at Asda like the minimum he can he does nothing around the house and makes his girlfriend do everything and she's a teacher who has to do a hell of work

Lmao, Well i dont like to make it sound bad but the only things he does is make the cups of tea/coffee, Lets the dog out on a night before he goes to bed and the washing up every other day to once a week but i have to 'nag' him to do it.
I do just about everything else - looking after daughter, cooking, general cleaning, clothes washing etc etc. Most of the time, I cant even drag him away from computer without him huffing and puffing. When were out, hes normally a miserable sod so i dont like him coming out with me, would rather he stopped at home. hes not very sociable with other people. Him taking me out?! Never. Cant afford it.
And the best of it is, he cant find a job (ive even dragged him round the industrial estates) he has got loads of digger licenses but always something else he needs that he hasnt got like a some kind of card or needs to be able to drive (no driving license). I can get a job but he wont look after my daughter cause he wouldnt be able to cope for more than a few hours, plus she wouldnt get her bum changed!

dont know what else to say really but dont fancy splitting up. doesnt sound that bad does it lol

It was great when we first met a year n half ago. He worked and life was great! Since he discovered this stupid game, He has got lazy and boring.

Dont want to sound bad on my part but she isnt biologically his. I was 7 weeks pregnant when i met him. So he isnt that bad cause he has stuck around the whole time!

I've actually lost a mate to WOW, he met some bird on it (I was amazed women played it), dumped his long term girlfriend and moved TO AUSTRALIA to shack up with her.

Nobody he knew in Ireland he talks to him any more...

Also have a few work colleagues who even took Friday off to play the new expansion pack.

Another WOW affair then! my bro lost his girlfriend of 6 years and 3 kids cause she met left for someone she had met n been talking to on it.

Still i would do something drastic to make him buck his ideas up chuck him out for a while until he comes back with a job or something.
Then if he really loves you he will do it if he doesnt then your better off rid any job would be better than the amount that he would get from benefits, i dont mean to be disrespectful but it is our tax money that is paying for him to sit on his arse playing games all day.

Tried telling him that. He was on about moving to this house where you just have a bedroom and then the cheeky sod said he dont think he would trust me not to go off with anyone else because i have a life and actually go out, so might meet someone better than him. My only fear would be we would actually split up then cause he would have the taste of 'freedom' again i.e. no family. but i reckon it would make him get himself sorted out, especially on the job front. or it will give more freedom on the game as he wont have me 'moaning'
