Yeah the tanks... completely unbalanced or what?
Can't kill em with two satchels and one sticky so what's the point... how many times has my team been wasted by the opposition just trundling round in all the available tanks while their snipers prevent anyone moving.

Should you actually clobber a tank hard then the chap inside simply jumps out instantly and shoots you while you're still pratting about reloading the bazooka.

I reckon they should have made exiting vehicles take 5 seconds or so complete with a climbing out sequence where you'd be vulnerable to enemy fire. Prevent these guys hopping out of a nearly dead tank.

Mind you, for difficult online play see Far Cry 2... Jeez.... (but I love it)

Got to agree with this 100%. The tanks are ridiculously overpowered. Why on Earth give you a bazooka perk if the 2 rockets you get can't take out a tank? It means that you basically HAVE to get killed to take a tank out! Generally I've found that maps with tanks on completely ruin the fun of the game.

The weapons are also completely unbalanced, the fully automatic machine guns have less recoil than the small machine guns, yet are more powerful. The rifles should always be single shot, yet they aren't. And the dogs are still overpowered by a stupid amount.

Basically, all of the problems and niggles that were bought up in the beta have been ignored. Way to go, Treyarch! :bang:

I got to level 13 and then went back to Call of Duty 4. It's total bliss. :D
 
cod4 rules cod5 just isnt quite there i feel like they int finished it poper its just been rushed out for x-mas imo bring on cod6 with infinty ward:slayer::slayer:

But surely a shot from a tank will also kill you more easily in hardcore? I haven't even unlocked hardcore yet, I'm only level 13. I don't think I'm going to bother when I could be sniping people like a pro on 4 instead. :cool:

(Actually I'm average at sniping :( )

Haha, good point!
I mean if it doesn't hit you directly though, sometimes it just does damage in Core mode. Would that kill you in Hardcore?

My personal favourite trick is just to run at the tank as fast as possible and then run around it in circles (possibly screaming down the headset) while your team-mates take it out. :p
 
If you get it close to the person in hardcore you can normally blow them up. I cant play normal team deathmatch because all the people that have juggernaught on just never die. You can put a whole clip into them and there still stood there like you havent been shooting at them.
 
an apalling follow on to what is prob the best in the cod series so unrealisting impossible to shot the jugafraud users only way to play is hardcore but the yanks already know the best points to camp from i got the game delivered the day before release and got nailed by the yanks the second i turned it on lasted a whole 6 mins that time played intotal 3 hrs and have now sold it

why on gods green earth did we need to go back in time we went from modern warfare to old granny sh%t treyarch ruined it should have gone to infinityward again roll on cod 6
 
Nah cod4 changed the cod games completely. You just dont like it because its not old style :p

It is a shame the yanks ruin it by camping as its no fun then, its just spawn die spawn die spawn die and it gets boring. Although last night i was pwning it. 30 kill streak ftw

I've started to get into it now, not as mch as COD4, but its good.

It was bugging me for ages, who the voice of Sgt. Roebuck was, I thought it was Kiefer Sutherland, but wasn't 100% sure, kinda put it to the back of my mind. But just checked on imdb and it is.
