Anyone else got Burnout 3 yet? Bloody amazing. I am hooked. There's even a car which, with your eyes half closed and a dose of ale, would pass for a pretend Stilo - but not available in yellow :-(

Tbh, haven't switched on my PS2 now for about a year, lol. Still sitting under a 36" w/s TV with full surround, collecting dust!

I am tempted to buy an inverter for it, and bung it in the car! Screen and ports already there

Question is: To XBox or PS2?
There's no GC version so that's out the question.

I chose PS2 as I prefer the controllers and I prefer the rougher edge to the gfx of PS2. GTA3 and VC on Xbox is too shinyshiny for my liking.

However, where the PS2 single player is fab, the load times between 'goes' in crash mode makes multiplayer a bit sluggish and rains on the party. I am somewhat tempted to return it to game and swap for the alledgedly faster loading xbox version.

It's ace, byt the way.
You can now do team crash, or vs crash where you simultaneously try to crash at the same junction. Also the racing is the fastest and most adrenaline packed I have ever seen. Best - racer - ever - fact.

Personally I can not stand an Xbox, then again i would say that as i hate anything MS. I have a PS2 and can not fault it one bit, my GT3 disk has been played so many times its shocking

you hate it purely because MS made it? shame

the xbox is more than a console once chipped, and with games loading off its hard drive (after u swap out the tiny std one), its much quicker than anything else loading wise

i looked at chippin mine but cant b bothered. xbox 2 or the zenon has ment 2 b havin 2 64bit processors. now that wud be sweet!

I'm also hooked on Burnout3 - I happened to get it on XBox, but I agree the PS2 controller is sometimes better for some games. My wife is better than me at the crash events so I'm thinking twice about letting her drive (a real car) after playing it!!

Also picked up Chronicles of Riddick at the same time - also very good...

Chronicles of Riddick is a gud game, shame i completed it in a day.
