xbox 360 on its way out

Got one you can have for postage took it off when I upgraded to an elite.....keep it cool but double the noise output...

when they repaired it I'm sure they've replaced the fans as well as it seems quieter

you sure you got the same 1 back? i sent mine off ages ago with the rrod, no warranty sticker as i had flashed it and you could clearly tell it had it's back doors kicked in and they sent me a brand new 2007 model within 5 days with a benq drive and upgraded motherboard (extra heat sink) i only know about the extra heat sink cos i flashed it as soon as it arrived

Probably put the lower wattage chipset out of the HDMI machines in it..runs cooler and allows variable fans to run slower

Next problem now reckon dvd drive is on its way out now, when playing games or watching dvd's it either freezes or goes really slow, happens when HDD is disconnected as well.

Microsoft want £60 to fix it as well so can't be bothered now, when I start using it again more often I may trade it in and get an elite

You could trade it in or try force red rings to get another from MS

and my little brother got rrod on his 360, mine is older probs been used more and is fine. but he stripped it, ready to send off the next day it was fine
hasnt had a problem since that was about a month ago lol and mine is still good, although im on my 2nd 'power brick' as the old one blew up

Flashing enables your xbox 360 to play backups mate, u don't chip the console you simply flash the dvd rom with a modded firmware

nothing new with xbox should of got a ps3 he he

tbh got both and the 360 is much better, i only got the ps3 for the blueray player, why would anyone want a console you can't hack and have to pay 40 - 50 quid a game ? xbox live rocks and the ps3's online gaming ****e comes nowhere near it plus it's a full multimedia package designed to operate side by side with my pc
