okay you have 3 flavours of 360

core
premium
elite

below is a post from an xbox site for USA pricing/specs however you can expect similar for UK machines i would think.
as you can see HDMI is going to be standard.no real surprise as it saves M$ manufacturing 2 motherboards.
the new elites seem to be more reliable so given the problems came from motherboard cooling i would expect this reliability ot be the same on all HDMI equipped 360's
or the other way to look at it is non HDMI eqipped 360's could become 2nd hand bargains being of lesser spec and people wanting shot to 'upgrade'
