xbox live

well what a chore.
so i havent used the 360 for a bit.i knew my 12 month sub was running out but ignotred the renewal emails as i knew my card had expired so no cash was going out.
so today i decide to fire up the old girl.
so i try to add a 2 month live code to the account.
nope not interested,telling me my account is suspended yada yada.
so i decide to set up a new account,again tells me option not available????
so i phone xbox live support,note is freephone vs the M$ support 0800 587 1102
guy starts ranting on about how if theres no money in your account its suspended for ever,no cant use it again yada yada.
so seemingly you cant use the same card,gamer tag,email or phone number again!!!
no problem for me as ive moved house but a pain for some.
finally got it sorted and got a new avccount sorted but what a pain!! although i did get a free month gold membership on signing up.

still cant get my 2 month code to work

Its still better than the PS network on playstation 3, as good as that console is, they really need to sort out the online side of things. Thank god for Live!

Coupon codes for some, do expire so maybe thats the reason ?

I used to be "michaelkills" however wanted it moving to new email etc <.< no no -.- so when ran out, got 12 month card from ebay (forget paying microsoft 40 each year) and made new account :/

but the free online play is so much better than live
