New 360 premium with HDMi

Thats bit of an arse as I've only just bought a Premium, oh well if I really wanted HDMi I would have waited and got an Elite instead.

yeah but there are more upgrades on the way.the new cooler running CPU's and upgraded mobo's which as of yet are not released even on HDMI equipped 360's
seems it may be premiums only ala ps3 meaning the gap between the core and premium cant be retro upgraded.
i dont have an HD TV so no matter to me and for those in the same situation its a good time ot wait for a glut of 2nd hand non HDMI consoles hitting the market

Oh well, at least if I do get the ring of death I'll get a replacement at Game, I did think about buying preowned, but thought better of it.

I'm really unsure as to even bother with 360 or PS3 yet.

I don't have a HDTV, and I've seen certain games that are being played on normal TV's through the 360 and everything looks tiny. (FIFA 2007, Colin McRae: DIRT).

I'm a perfectionist when it comes to things like that. With the PS2/GC/Xbox, games were designed for 1 type of TV, and everything worked. No "optional" this or that.

A right pain in the ass, because if I buy a 360 and a HDTV, then normal television will look **** through the HDTV as I dont use anything like sky HD etc. But the games will look great.

i run a 360 on my CRT and its no bigie although i find the menus in PGR a bit too small to read comfortably at low def
