360 extended warrenty

something that occured to me.say you have your 360 and it goes faulty under its 12 month warrenty. M$ will replace it aslong as the security seal is intact eg people like me havent messed with it
however say you take out an extended warrenty(non M$) and it failed in say month 13. do extented warrenties generally have a modification clause?

i'd say any signs of tampering would void a warranty, I doubt MS would add another sticker after repair.
