Parents 50,000 2.0 SX SW

Owned from new [93`] & is pre facelift [no ABS or Airbag].. was brought to replace their ageing [& rusting!] 81` 131 Supermirafiori... never broken down, dash works fine & even has the original clutch!

Things that have broken or needed replacing..

2 drivers door lock mechinisms
front light earth wiring bypassed & new plugs fitted[dim headlights]
brake bulbs go at least once a year
number plate light earth failed
exhaust mid section replaced 5 times [weak spot]
new shocks @ 48,000 miles
new tyres @ 40,000 miles [ish]
gearbox/diff fluid changed for synthetic

& thats it...

I re-rustproofed the floor last summer when I noticed some of the original underseal peeling away underneath.

I also service it every 6 months & use 15/40 semi synthetic, Fiat oil filter & 4 electrode plugs. I also always use Fiat brake pads

Seatcovers & mats fitted from new. Upgraded the stereo for them [Pioneer speakers & head unit plus amplified aerial] also fitted a K&N filter

Car is mint & original inside & out & rarely goes over 40 mph!

Cost them over 13,000 11 yrs ago.. they`d be lucky to get 500 for it now... Still, they`ll probably never sell it!

Update:

My parents picked up a `new` Stilo SW yesterday, so I`ve now got this!

Its now done 71,000 miles & still looks mint, but I intend to turn it into a street sleeper.
