Unhappy drive belt

Hi folks, Have a few things going on with my drive belt. Last month, the day that my wife and I started our drive down the west country the drive belt decided to give in, luckerly it was only 3 miles from our front door.
New drive belt on, and 700miles later that has gone west also. The drive belt are factory fit, now this one has started to make a noise and a burning smell in coming into the cab.
I have the correct tension on the belt, and all the pullies look correct and line up with each other, any idea's
thanks chris.

Re: drive belt

If the drive belt is the same as the timming belt then this might help. The images are upside down but you can rotate them . I couldn't save a rotated images. See attached files.

Re: drive belt

Thanks for that, put my aussie hat on LOL. All looks OK, I heard that spraying the belt and pullies with WD40 helps what do you think??

Re: drive belt

I don't think that will help. I would check the tensioner and recheck the tension. Just a guess as I am not a mechanic.
good luck

Re: drive belt

If you mean the tension of the cambelt as far as I am aware it is a comfortable one quarter turn or twist of the belt when it is fitted.
