| Engine change I have just purchased a y plated fiorino diesel off a frustated mate. He has fitted a replacement engine and couldnt get it running. I have had a look and diesel is getting in to the pump but not out. I dont have a warning light inside so I think everythings fine on the ecu side key code etc. Does the pump shut off via the ecu? and if so is there a way of by-passing this? Or am I missing something obvious? Any help would be gratefully accepted.

| Re: Engine change if you use the pump from the new engine you put in you will need the keys[including chip]and key code box from the same vehicle, other wise remove the code unit off the back/bottom of the pump......................mp

| Re: Engine change if you are using the origional pump on the new engine,it should start. Also check the fuel inertia switch has not tripped in by pushing the centre down, but not sure were it is,could be in engine bay or passenger footwell area...........mp
