Failed the mot today.

After fitting a new handbrake cable, brake shoes, brake cylinders, new headlamp (£83 ), putting on a part worn tyre, repainting the outside, undersealing, and valeting the fiorino, its decided to fail the mot today . it needs....

Welding near the jacking point.
The drivers side brake hose is loose.
Passenger side front brake disc pitted.
Drivers side rear tyre split.
Passenger side front brake pipe corroded.

Advisories....

Drivers side front brake pipe corroded.
Anti roll bar bushes on the front have slight play.
Drivers side door jagged along bottom.

Update - I managed to get a brake disc, Michelin tyre and wheel, anti-roll bar bushes, and the bracket for the brake hose off a scrapped fiorino today, and all for the fantastic total price of £10

only one brake disc?

I have measured the disc, and its exactly the same as the disc thats on my van.

Think the poitn is they should really be of the same thickness, etc on both sides. I don't see it matters too much, but would prob have taken both from the scappie, and swapped them over, especially as it will be back in for another MOT soon!

Make sure you bed the pads into the new disc as well, may take a few miles.
