My Fiorino Mk2, which has a 1.4 petrol engine with bosch single point fuel injection.
has a strange and sometimes alarming behavior. I'm happily going along when
power is lost momentarily, this can be fairly harsh, a bit like hard braking. Clutching shows that the revs have dropped to idle. Accelerating sometimes cures it but a better cure is lightly touching the brake pedal. It can happen several times in a row with a few seconds interval during a journey (not good) or temporarily cure itself for a few days
(much better). As touching the brake often solves the problem, this suggests a weird
electrical fault. Any thoughts on this would be much appreiciated .
Many thank

I didn't read this thread before because I didn't know these vans came with power. :D

I had the same problem with my Tipo. It was the throttle body getting stuck. Failing that it could be a loose wire on a sensor or worse ECU. Still you can bin all that crap fit an Uno distributor and pair of Webers. That what my Uno Stage Rally car had under the bonnet. ;)
