Hi guys I’m new to this forum I’ve got the same problem with my fiorino it also is a Scottish power ex lease van is there anywhere in the midlands I can take I can take it I’m rubbish with technology so best option for me is to pay for it to be removed

Lol . I was on the 3 lane when I was trying to give way for a bimmer stuck up my ass , I couldn't go pass the little hairdryer on my left, bit scary though when you push the pedal and nothing happens .
I'm loving the van very nippy for a 1.3 , found like a dead spot in up to 2000rpm then it goes like a bullet after. A friend of a friend remaps cars for a living , had a look under the dashboard , recons there is a lot of odd wiring behind the obd plug. Anyway bumped into a southern electricity guy, I've asking him about it, he said all their vans have speed limiters on them. I'll take a snap shot of that spider web and post it here and see what you lads think.

As far as I am aware that dead spot you are referring to is just turbo lag.

Mine is a 95bhp and as soon as 2k arrive whoosh goes the turbo but until then like you said a deadish spot.

My Mother has the 75bhp version and Hers is the same.

We have only had ours since July and apart from the heater not get hot like my Audi we love it.

As previously noted the speed limit can be programmed in the Ecu. It can be set or removed using Multi ecuscan running on a laptop/tablet/pc and some leads and there are reports here that was the case on another van like yours. Would be less than 100 to set yourself up. Really don't need to be very tech savvy. If you were local would do it for you, am in East Anglia.
